It’s not the fear. It’s the anxiety!

Fear can sometimes serve you. Anxiety can never serve you. When you are suffering from anxiety, you can only do two things: sit down or lie down. So, the first thing you can do to overcome anxiety (often mistaken for fear) is get moving. It doesn’t even matter what you do. Just get moving and change your physiology.

Second, you must change your focus. You have to change your focus from the anxious apprehension about the outcome you don’t desire to the joyful anticipation of the outcome you do desire (Hebrews 12:2).

Be a predator, not the prey. Ever notice how predator’s eyes are on the front of their heads, and animals thought of as prey have their eyes more on the side of their head? The prey have eyes on the side of their head so they can focus on their circumstances all around them. They walk around on the lookout for that bad thing that is about to happen.

In contrast, predators have their eyes in front because they are moving forward focused on the task at hand. They are ready to move forward fast and capitalize on any opportunity for provision. If you have your eyes focused on the circumstances that surround you, you are going to assume the role of prey.

Are you using your eyes as God intended? 👀 If you want to break out of anxiety to achieve your destiny, you must change your FYSIOLOGY. Change your FOCUS. Change your FUTURE!
